About

Marian Rivodo

Venezuelan-born, Miami-raised native with a passion for helping individuals, couples and families achieve health within themselves and in their relationships. I firmly believe that healthy individuals can produce healthy homes and healthy homes can produce healthy individuals but somewhere along the way, culture and our surroundings make an attempt to lead us astray, leading us far from what we want to build and who we want to be. Allow me to join you on your journey of redesigning your life, your relationships and let’s commit to  flourishing in every aspect of it.

It is my passion and delight to help individuals improve their relationships with themselves and others, it is the fuel that drives my  practice.

Education:

I originally pursued an undergraduate degree in Psychology at Florida International University and then furthered my studies by obtaining a Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Miami. I am grateful for the excellence in education and for the opportunities it has provided me to work with incredible colleagues in the field of Mental Health.

Bilingual:

Having been born in Maracay, Venezuela and then raised in Miami has provided me with the incredible opportunity to deepen my Hispanic heritage and become equally fluent in both English and Spanish. This allows me to conduct all my services in either language, tailored to my clients preference.

Clinical experience:

I have a broad range of clinical experience working with individuals, couples and families of all age groups and genders. My primary areas of focus are in relational distress, depression/anxiety, communication and intrapersonal development.

Qualified Supervisor:

I am a Registered Marriage and Family Therapy Intern in the state of Florida. During the completion of hours for Licensure I will be under the supervision of a qualified Mental Health supervisor.

“The quality of your life ultimately depends on the quality of your relationships.”
